The paintings of Mitra Kamali are compelling and warm. She will be showing some of her older work alongside her newer pieces. Whether painting scenes of everyday life in a big city or bright abstract scenes, her work is informed by her acute sense of observation and keen eye for those little moments of weakness, joy, loneliness or just contemplation. She combines many various subjects, including religion, family, war, peace, connection, computers, good thoughts, bad rulers, hope and going beyond boundaries!

    I loved the exibition. I was visiting the center with my uncle and the paintings covering the walls were a wonderful surprise. Full of life and feelings.
