Former U.S. Marine, actor and comedian Rob Riggle will mark his debut at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. It's election year again, and who better to make sense of it all than Comedy Central's Rob Riggle! One of three correspondents from The Daily Show featured this season, Riggle has been performing sketch and improv comedy in New York and Los Angeles for the past nine years as part of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. He is also a U.S. Marine Corps officer who has served in Liberia , Kosovo and Afghanistan . A 'war-monger-turned-comedian,' Riggle shoots only from the hip these days with political commentary, pundit musings and punch-drunk humor. Important Information: Contains adult language and themes.

I laugh at the "warning" at the end of Mr. Riggle's bio -- "Important Information: Contains adult language and themes". Unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the lack of laughs at his "show". I don't doubt the show would have gotten some "laughs" from 8th grade boys. Discussing farts, hairy balls, stenchy mens' rooms and calling people trolls and morons, demonstrates neither wit nor creativity. He's no prince charming or mensa candidate. And, contrary to what he thinks, is not very informative to us females. What a naive fellow, to think women don't know that men's rooms are scuzzy! So what else is new? Collapse

We have never before attended such a boring and uninspired performance by a stand up comedian. Not one of the vignettes in the show had any entertainment value, and all were delivered in a long and drawn out manner than accentuated the lack of humor. Collapse

We came to the show expecting topical humor similar to what we've come to enjoy on the Daily Show. What we got was an interminable hour in which we were bored by recounting of occurrences in Rob's life that by no measure could be considered funny. To make matters worse, they were often gratuitously vulgar, often insulting to classes of people (i.e., older people) and worst of all delivered in a manner that seemed to drag on forever. In short, there were NO funny moments during the entire performance. Collapse
