Acoustic Open Stage Thursdays
January 1-December 31, 2008
For over ten years, Fiddler's Dream has been the place to be for acoustic musicians that want to share songs in a completely acoustic environment. No mics, no sound system, no electric instruments - there is a nice electric Yamaha piano that you can use. Doors open about 6:15pm, and you will be asked to put your name in the hat if you want to play that night. Names are drawn at random beginning at 7:30pm. There is enough time for about 20 performers, at 8 minutes or two songs each.

I especially enoyed his rendition of James Taylor. I hope he comes back to Fiddlers Dream soon. I would like to know where else he performs. Collapse

I was the volunteer for this evening of music, and it was delightful. The Wanderers have an incredible variety of songs that they do, and their work on Woody Guthrie's music was absolutely inspiring. They were followed by The New Phoenix Strugglers, a four piece ensemble that shone in their solo work as well as when they all joined forces. Altogether a fine night of music! Collapse
