Special Performances to Kick off Sonoran Desert Chorale's 'Songs of Love'

Scottsdale-based theater company, Chyro Arts, has just announced it will hold special pre-concert performances prior to the Sonoran Desert Chorale's 'Songs of Love' concerts. These programs will begin one half-hour prior to the Chorale's vocal concerts and include readings of poetry and theatrical selections from some of Western civilization's greatest writers and poets. The performance will include duets from William Shakespeare, Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac and verses of love from history's most famous poets. The group will explore famous love lost and love found from such figures as Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Napoleon Bonaparte, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Woody Allen. Sonoran Desert Chorale's performances of 'Songs of Love' will be held at 3:00pm, following this event.
