Enjoy wine and appetizers, visit Heard Museum North Scottsdale's two galleries and sculpture garden and learn about American Indian art from some of the Southwest's top experts. Event Schedule: April 1: Navajo Textiles - Ann Marshall, director of collections, education and interpretation, will share secrets about how to evaluate Navajo textiles, assess their quality and build a personal collection. April 8: Contemporary Art - Berlin Gallery Manager Andrea Hanley, Navajo, will discuss trends in contemporary American Indian art. April 15: Pottery - Listen to Diana Pardue, curator of collections, as she discusses how to appreciate and collect traditional and contemporary American Indian pottery. April 22: Phoenix's American Indian Collection - Director of American Indian Relations Wendy Weston will discuss the assembly of the American Indian Collection for the Phoenix City Hall. April 29: Northern Native Art and Dr. E. Daniel Albrecht - Listen to expert and collector Dr. E. Daniel Albrecht speak about Cape Dorset Art: Tradition and Innovation. Albrecht's collection of Northern Native art is one of the finest collections of its kind ever assembled in public or private hands.
