    Phoenix Metropolitan Opera presents Aida. The work that defines 'Grand Opera' is Giuseppe Verdi's Aida. The exotic setting of ancient Egypt provides the background for a love triangle that goes horribly wrong. With such favorites as 'Celeste Aida' and the 'Triumphal Scene' Aida is a thrilling work that has been a staple of the repertoire for over one hundred years.
