Greasepaint Youththeatre presents Disney's Mulan Jr.. Along with director Chris Hamby, travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of Disney's Mulan. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor! Mulan Jr. is a heart warming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like Reflection, Honor to Us All and I'll Make a Man Out of You as well as new songs that will get your audience up on its feet! Please note: Friday, April 25 is opening night and all seats in the house are $30. This is a fundraiser for Greasepaint Youtheatre, and there will have an opening night reception afterwards. Comps may not be used for this night. Adults interested in having their children in a seat will still need to pay the $30. All other performances are the regular ticket prices.

I thought this play was FANTASTIC! The talent of these kids was remarkable! And, I'm looking forward to seeing it one more time before they close.

I don't know if any of the previous reviewers are or not, and up until now I have resisted submitting a review. I have ushered numerous performances and over and over again I hear comments like, "What an incredible cast", "the time flew by, what a great show", "I'm coming back to see this again!". My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the process with this production. These very talented dedicated performers and the folks at Phx Theatre/Greasepaint have put together a fantastic show on a shoestring budget. I am continually impressed with all aspects of this complex musical production. This weekend is your last chance to see this great show!! "I wish" nothing but continued success for everyone involved with the new Greasepaint organization and the performers. Collapse

Wow oh wow! If you haven't seen Stagebrush's "Into the Woods" yet, then RUN - Don't walk to get your tickets immediately! It's a bargain at twice the price! The cast is PHENOMENAL, and the direction, under D. Scott Withers, is everything you've come to expect from him. Thank you to Phoenix Theatre for helping to save this little theatre as it rises like a phoenix. Thank you to Gary Minyard and his crew of hard workers for all they've done, and thanks especially to a talented group of teens and a couple of amazing directors who pulled these fantastic performances out of them! You probably already know that Into to the Woods is a TOUGH show to do. This crack team of actors, singers, choreographers and directors did the impossible...they made it look easy. Thank you again! What an amazing show! I'll be back again and again! Collapse

My family went to see the show opening weekend. We loved it. We were laughing histerically. The show is very entertaining and the teen cast is the most talented I have seen in Children's Theatre.

This show is unbelievably great! I would never have guessed kids could perform like this. From the largest role to the smallest they are each wonderfully talented and could compete with any adult cast I have seen. Just a few technical glitches are what keep me from giving it 5 stars. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!! Collapse
