Arizona Opera

Arizona Opera has its roots in 1971 Tucson, where it was founded by a dedicated group of opera enthusiasts. Arizona Opera currently produces a five opera season. Attending a live opera performance is one of the most thrilling events in Phoenix. All Arizona Opera performances have English translations projected above the stage. This makes the already intensely emotional experience of the story as easy to absorb as the power of the live orchestra with over 60 players.
