Accredited not only as a garden, but also as a living museum, the garden is a sanctuary for nearly 140 threatened or endangered species, representing flora from deserts around the world.

    Chihuly during Luminaries was incredible. Breathtaking. This is a must see exhibit at night time. I recommend you see this while you still can.

    Though the Botanical Gardens were beautiful, I was not impressed by the Butterfly Exhibit. There were not as many butterflies as I thought there would be. Also, as advertised online, it does not make mention that it is an additional $2.00 to get into the Exhibit, unless you have a coupon. Not that this is a large amount, but this is very deceiving.     This year we took a guest and were quite disappointed. The food was cold and mediocre quality, but fairly expensive. There seemed to be more interest in taking meal tickets than providing good food.... Expand

    This year we took a guest and were quite disappointed. The food was cold and mediocre quality, but fairly expensive. There seemed to be more interest in taking meal tickets than providing good food. There seemed to be little in terms of entertainment. In years past, the place seemed so alive. Anyway, enjoyed the flute, the bells and the barbershop quartet very much. Could not see at one other location, and there was only one other thing....the Latin music. Much to do about so little. So, we left. I think the volunteers on the path also realized that there was simply not that much to see and enjoy. Collapse
