    West Valley Art Museum

    West Valley Art Museum collection contains over 4000 items from more than 90 countries with a key focus on Ethnic Dress, textiles and Ethnographic Arts. Their collection of ethnographic artifacts and Decorative Arts encourage understanding of unfamiliar regions of the world, their peoples, customs and artistic traditions. West Valley Art Museum's 19th and 20th Century fine art collection contains 213 paintings, 312 drawings and 302 prints by American artists with a growing focus on artists from the Southwest. The Museum is rapidly moving toward becoming a very significant institution for education. It encourages, provides and enables intergenerational learning where the mixing of education, age, gender, nationality, and race becomes a strong asset in this shared learning process.

        One of the nicest, well organized ceramic/pottery displays I have visited in a long time. The Raku items were a stand-out along with the sculptures. A "Must See" event. I highly recommend... Expand
