Pioneer Living History Village
Located 30 minutes north of downtown Phoenix, Pioneer Living History Village is over 90-acres of original 1800s buildings and historically accurate reproductions. Guests will see the Opera House where Lilly Langtry sang, look through a rifle port in the actual cabin that survived Arizona's bloodiest range war and browse through an 1890s dress shop. There is also a working blacksmith shop, critter corral, sheriff's office and jail, complete ranch complex, costumed interpreters, cowboys, lawmen, and lovely Victorian ladies.
Pioneer Arizona is recognized as an educational facility, a "classroom without walls," where children learn to live and appreciate Arizona's Territorial Days (1880s-1912 era).-
