Arizona Art Alliance
The Arizona Art Alliance is a non-profit organization of now 24 art groups, representing nearly 4,000 artists statewide. Founded in 2000 the Alliance is committed to the promotion and appreciation of fine art and the enrichment that art brings to the community. The Alliance's mission is to support member art organizations in efforts to promote the artwork of their membership; to develop, implement and conduct art education programs; and to provide art-related donations to groups with special needs.
Twice a year the Alliance presents its Enriching Life Through Art Fine Art Exhibit, featuring over 100 juried artists exhibiting works created using various media. Community Outreach Programs developed and supported by the Alliance and its membership include, but are not limited to: A New Beginning - an art education program for boys ages 12 to 18 at the Eagle Point Correctional Facility in Buckeye, now completed; and Kids Count - a Special Education Alternative Art Program for the physically and mentally challenged students. Artists wishing to participate in Arizona Art Alliance' activities and events, must first become a member of one of our member art organizations. The Alliance is experiencing significant growth and welcomes new member organizations.-
