Poet Bar

The Poet Bar is a new urban hotspot making its presence in Phoenix, Arizona. The Poet Bar hosts underground poetry and music. The featured poets range from open-mic amateurs to seasoned masters in spoken word and written form. They share a unique perspective of life experiences that earns credibility in the streets and respect from literature scholars. The open bar serves mental foreplay and verbal intercourse through poetic words, profound emotion, and prophetic imagination. The poet's voice is heard among the background sounds of jazz, neo soul, rhythm-and-blues, reggae, deep house and hip hop.
