Who runs ShowUp.com? The arts and cultural organizations of the greater Phoenix region have collaborated on innovative marketing, audience development and ticket-selling initiatives via a newly-formed arts service organization called Alliance for Audience.
Grounded in more than 3 years of discussion and exploration by a Ticketing Tactics Task Force (a.k.a. Tic Tacs), Alliance for Audience was incorporated in September, 2003 and subsequently received IRS designation as a 501(c)(3). We think of ourselves as a "convention and visitors bureau for arts and culture"—meaning that our goal is to create a first-of-its-kind strategic marketing plan to dramatically raise the profile of the region’s arts and cultural offerings to both resident and tourist populations, while creating new and numerous avenues for its members to sell their many exciting events, activities and services.
Our name speaks to the shared goal of all arts and cultural organizations – to increase the size of our audience. To the public, we’re known as ShowUp.com, an identity that we expect will come to stand for fun and entertainment throughout the Greater Phoenix region. Learn more at: www.AllianceforAudience.org.

Contest Rules
1. Entry. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. Limit one entry per household.
2. Time. Entries will be accepted from May 15, 2009 through June 23, 2009. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. (MST) on June 23.
3. Selection of Winner. Two (2) winners will be chosen at random on or about June 24, 2009 by Alliance for Audience and/or Eight’s Membership Promotions Department from among all eligible entries received during contest period. The provisional winner will be notified by e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing. If the provisional winner is contacted within such 24 hour period and complies with these rules, he/she will be declared the official winner ("Winner"). If the provisional winner is not reached by e-mail within a twenty-four (24) hour period (no messages will be left) or does not comply with these rules, Alliance for Audience and/or Eight may select an alternate provisional winner at random from among all remaining eligible entries received during the contest period.
4. Prize. Winner will receive two(2) tickets to the July 1, 2009 performance of “Wicked” at ASU Gammage, a one-night stay (double occupancy) at Courtyard by Marriott Tempe Downtown, and two (2) complimentary breakfasts. No substitutions or cash equivalents allowed, except that all prizes are subject to availability and Alliance for Audience and/or Eight may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Award of Prize is subject to Winner's proof of eligibility, including proof of residency. The Prize is nontransferable and non-assignable.
5. Eligibility Requirements. Subject to conditions below, the Wicked Ticket Promotion ( the "Contest") Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Except where prohibited, entry into Contest and acceptance of Prize constitutes Winner's consent to use his/her name and likeness in any media whatsoever for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or limitation. Entry into the Contest constitutes Winner's consent to comply with these Official Rules and with the decisions of Alliance for Audience and/or Eight which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to the Contest, including (without limitation) all decisions regarding eligibility, the selection of finalists and Winners, the award of Prizes and the administration of all Contest related drawings and events. If he/she fails for any reason to timely return the required Release and/or proof of residency, he/she may be disqualified from the Contest. The following persons are not eligible to win Prizes or otherwise participate in this Contest: (a) employees of Alliance for Audience, employees of Eight, their respective affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, the immediate family members of all such employees and all others with whom they are domiciled. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
6. Odds. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner's Responsibility. Winner is solely responsible for payment of all expenses not specifically mentioned and for payment and reporting of applicable federal, state and local taxes relating to Prize. Winner must accept Prize within 7 days of notification that he/she has been declared the Winner. Failure to accept and take delivery of the Prize within this time period will result in forfeiture of all rights and interest in the Prize.
8. Additional Information. For name of Official Winners (available after June 29) and/or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Eight Membership Promotions Office, 555 North Central Avenue, Suite 500, Phoenix AZ, 85004.
