I attended the opening night performance of this show and it was a treat. The food was amazing(standing ovation for the chef) and the script rather funny. Kudos to Chuck he was highly entertaining. The costumes were a delight and a wonderful nod to the 1970's. I recommend this for any mystery buff or avid golfer. After attending Honky Tonk Angels which too was a wonderful production my wife and I thought this would be a fun evening and we were correct. I recommend getting your tickets soon for this as the evening we attended there was not an empty seat. Congratulations to the staff at Broadway Palm for bringing such wonderful entertainment to the Valley. Best of luck on your new season and many more to come. The Desert Foothills Theater production of “Romantic Comedy” was a “HOME RUN”!!! The play was humorous, poignant and just plain fun. In addition, the set was beautifully constructed and quite elaborate for a small production company like DFT. They really out did themselves. All of the actors were good, but Tracy Timm absolutely stole the show. Although she is a diminutive person, her stage personality filled the theater. She was excellent! (Her prior drama coaches should be proud.) My only regret is that I did not see the show earlier in its run because I would have encouraged all of my friends and acquaintances see “Romantic Comedy” before it closed. When shows are this good, they deserve a packed house every night. Stay tuned for the next production from Desert Foothills Theater! You don’t want to miss another great show. Collapse

I saw the production of Happy Days at ASU Gammage in Tempe, AZ tonight. It was very well done. The Fonz was perfectly done. Pinky had a fantastic voice. Marion was a great character. The actors playing the Malachi brothers were terrific. They played the Malachi brothers and a few other roles which created some of the best scenes in the show. This shows has dancing, comedy, and great musical performances. There is a plot, but nothing too serious. I had alot of fun and felt great when I left. Collapse

Theater Works is generally known for their musicals, but this edgy production of a classic script not only highlights the power of the words, but features four electrifying performances. The sparks fly as the actors battle each other in every sense of the word. This show is possibly the best drama of the season. Don't miss it! Collapse

Nothing like we had expected. My wife and I took our 10 month old daughter expecting to see a pumpkin patch. Not to be found. The train was a 4 wheeler with carts attached. Probably better to go before halloween, we ended up going November 16. No food venders on site, on a Sunday. Definitely would not go back for the $7.00 admission. If admission were cheaper I'd think about it. Overall, just an ok place to go for something to do. Collapse

I thoroughly enjoyed this production of the show (which I have seen before, though not done as well). The songs were beautifully sung, they had a fun video screen with multimedia on it and some great lighting moods. If you like Cabaret or Chicago or NY, NY, you will like this. I highly recommend it. Romantic Comedy was delightful!! The male lead was fabulous, especially when he did the towel manuver, as was the female lead. And Blanche always knows how to exit a room!! Lots of laughs, very heartwarming. The set was beautiful too. The "Black Box" Theater at Desert Foothills is wonderfully intimate. Terrific way to spend an evening. Collapse
