Just when I thought it was safe to go out and see theatre again. The TRIBE has done it yet again. This talented group of scream queens show off more then their talents in this campy send up to b-horror movies. If you can only see one show this season (then your not really a theatre-goer and are probably boring to tak to) then make sure that you get a front row spot to see The Scream Queens- they sing....they dance.....they die!!!!!! I have made a lot of movies around town and I think that this nod to genre filmmaking is what inspires me to continue to do it again and again. I was really impressed with the ensemble as a whole. This really is a talented group of women and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you missed this show. Collapse

This is funny and touching. Anyone who has taken piano lessons will surely enjoy their evening with these two gentlemen. A must see.

Brave Maestro Cohen and Musica Nova for introducing me to two true classics of the symphonic literature that could not be heard elsewhere within commuting distance. The Stenhammar Piano Concerto was like a Brahms, partially completed by Tchaikovsky, and re-orchestrated by Rachmaninoff, with a patriotic coda by Sibelius. Nevertheless, a wonderful listening experience. I could tell that the Atterberg Symphony was going to be something special from the first few bars. True, he has his own voice. The flutes and horn sections shined. A more acoustically favorable hall would have been the ultimate treat. Let's hop a recording contract is in the works for this all Swedish program. Collapse

I took my grand daughter to see Puss in Boots and I enjoyed the show as much if not more than my grand daughter!! The youths who made up the cast of this show were pure talent. I suspect I will see some of them become movie stars. The play, stage setting, costumes and make-up were exceptionally professional. The play moved flawlessly thru the story. There was no "pregnant pauses" or lull that would cause you to lose interest in the story-line. The actors knew their lines and delivered them brilliently. This theatre group is a pleasure to see. Don"t miss a chance to see this play. It will surprise you as it did me. Collapse

CCT's Steel Magnolias was a fun evening filled with laughter and tears. The young women who are portraying Shelby and Annelle were especially good and as always the Ouiser/Claree bickering was delightful. This was my first time going to this theatre's production, and if this is the quality of the plays, I will be back!! Collapse

no words can desribe the beauty of this show. I knew what would happen in the end, but durring the show, having been let in on all the little secrets of annes life, i found myself hoping it would all turn out differantly. And although its true everyone was captuered and anne died, too me she truley is still alive, in every word spoken in that show, in every song sang, and in every expression on the actors faces. they all did so well in the show! i cannot believe that kimberlyn austin is only twelve years old! her range was fantastic! being able to hit so many notes, low and high, knocked the socks right off of my feet. It made me cry to see her step off that stage into the bright light, knowing that was the last note she'd sing on the stage that night, i never wanted to take my eyes off of her. Collapse

Visually this was kind of fun but I took my kids to it after seeing the very fun THE LOST ONES and I found HAROUN... just okay. My kids were bored. I thought some of the costume stuff was new and different--loved the fish!--but many of the actors looked like they had no idea what was going on. Collapse
