    Valley Youth Theatre

    Valley Youth Theatre performs in its own renovated facility in Copper Square, Downtown Phoenix. Located on the southeast corner of First Street and Fillmore, the old storefront was gutted in 1998 and rebuilt to include a 30-foot wide proscenium stage with orchestra pit, 202 seat continental-style audience seating, a stunning lobby with box office, as well as the necessary "backstage" areas: a lighting and sound booth, small scene and costume shops, and rehearsal and dressing rooms.

    Valley Youth Theatre is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that targets young people age 7 - 19 for participation in and attendance at quality live theatre productions. VYT's mission is to inspire young people to be the best that they can be by providing them with lifelong lessons through a wide range of performing arts opportunities. Named by the Arizona Republic as the "The Best Place to Become a Future Star",VYT is an award-winning theatre company whose Alum include American Idol, Jordin Sparks and Broadway Star, Max Crumm.
