Harry Wood Gallery
The Harry Wood Gallery was named after Harry Wood (1910-1995), Emeritus Professor and former Chair of the (then) Department of Art. The Gallery was established in 1971 as an integral part of the School of Art within the College of Fine Arts at Arizona State University Main, which is governed by the Arizona Board of Regents, an agency of the state government. The purpose of the gallery is to provide the students, faculty, and academic professionals of the School of Art with exhibition space for art that serves the needs of the school. In accord with the overall objectives of Arizona State University, the gallery supports the research, teaching, and public service functions of the school.
