The Paul V. Galvin Playhouse

The Galvin Playhouse is a large but intimate proscenium theatre with sophisticated lighting, sound, and rigging systems. With a 161-seat balcony and a 320-seat main floor, the theatre's design allows every patron (even those sitting in the balcony back row) to feel close to the stage ? an ideal situation for seeing actors' expressions and hearing the spoken word. As a performance space the playhouse is intimate allowing performers to relate to the entire audience. The Galvin Playhouse is in the southeast area of the Nelson Fine Arts Center, located at the corner of Mill Avenue and 10th Street in Tempe, Arizona, on the ASU campus.
