    Shemer Art Center

    Shemer Art Center and Museum is a historic site operated since 1984 by the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department as a family-oriented museum and art education center. Shemer Art Center and Museum Association's goal is to work cooperatively with the City of Phoenix to provide people of all ages and abilities with artistic and cultural experiences through exhibitions, classes and other educational programs.

    The range of exhibitions is diverse, including traditional and nontraditional works. Shemer Art Center primarily exhibits emerging Arizona artists. Exhibition opportunities are offered to artists of all levels of experience, medium, style and technique.
