Arizona Historical Society Museum at Papago Park

Come take a magical tour into Arizona's past! There are life-sized figures of the natives and newcomers who lived in, and migrated to, the region from 1860-1912.

Walk the sidewalks of Main Street, Arizona in the 1940s. Visit a WWII Japanese Relocation camp and a German POW camp. Climb the stairs of an air traffic control tower for a closer look at an AT6 pilot training airplane.

Explore the Green Line Overlook, an outdoor exhibit that features the plants and animals of this desert environment.

The Arizona Historical Society Museum at Papago Park, one of seven museums statewide, is Arizona's oldest cultural organization, founded on November 7, 1864. It's mission is to preserve Arizona's history and heritage for future generations.
